Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site MEP activities including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
- Ensure all works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Lead and supervise MEP technicians, labor teams, and subcontractors to achieve daily and weekly execution targets.
- Communicate work plans, technical details, and scheduling requirements to field teams.
- Monitor MEP progress versus approved schedules and report deviations, risks, or delays to the Program Manager.
- Coordinate with other technical departments such as civil, architectural, and low-current teams to resolve interface issues.
- Review MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and installation methods as needed.
- Manage on-site resource allocation including manpower, tools, and materials.
- Conduct routine inspections to verify quality compliance and adherence to MEP standards.
- Prepare daily progress reports, manpower logs, and productivity tracking documents.
- Support the Program Manager in preparing project status presentations and progress summaries.
- Ensure MEP works are prepared for inspection and client acceptance according to quality requirements.
- Assist with preparing and following up on MEP material requests to ensure timely availability.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities for MEP systems
- Maintain accurate documentation including checklists, site logs, as-built information, and inspection records.
- Resolve site-level challenges promptly to maintain continuous workflow and minimize disruptions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in MEP execution within construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and installation techniques.
- Experience supervising site teams and coordinating subcontractors.
- Familiarity with MEP shop drawings, technical standards, and quality procedures.
- Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and follow-up capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and HSE compliance in construction environments.
