Job Purpose:

To lead product planning, pricing strategy, sales forecasting, and market analysis activities within the automotive business to ensure a competitive product portfolio, optimized commercial performance, and alignment with business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product planning strategies aligned with business objectives, market opportunities, and customer demand
  • Define product positioning strategies through analysis of customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings
  • Lead vehicle pricing analysis and recommendations, including competitor benchmarking, market positioning assessments, and profitability evaluations
  • Support pricing strategy execution to balance market competitiveness and business profitability
  • Support new vehicle launches by providing product forecasts, pricing recommendations, and market readiness insights
  • Coordinate with principal/regional teams regarding product specifications, allocation planning, product availability, and future model pipelines
  • Conduct competitive product benchmarking across relevant automotive segments, including features, specifications, pricing, and value proposition
  • Monitor product performance across the vehicle portfolio and recommend commercial actions to optimize sales, market share, inventory turnover, and profitability
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment on product strategy and business targets
  • Prepare regular executive dashboards and reports covering sales performance, pricing trends, inventory health, and market outlook
  • Monitor inventory levels and support demand planning to ensure optimal stock availability
  • Support product lifecycle planning, including new model introductions, facelifts, and phase-outs
  • Lead monthly sales and product planning reviews, providing data-driven recommendations to management
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, forecasting accuracy, and reporting effectiveness

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Automotive Engineering, Marketing, or related field; MBA is preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in product planning, sales planning, pricing, business analytics, or commercial strategy within the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of automotive market dynamics, pricing strategies, forecasting techniques, and inventory management
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in Power BI, SAP, or similar reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive mindset with strong project management capabilities
