Role Description
This is a contract position for a Procurement Engineer, located on-site in Qesm El Moqatam. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for supplier evaluations, generating and managing purchase orders, processing requests for quotations (RFQs), and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement. The role also involves analyzing procurement needs, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Experience in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
- Proficiency in generating and managing Purchase Orders and related documentation.
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess and improve procurement strategies.
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site construction or engineering environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with fire systems and safety equipment procurement is an added advantage
