Job Description

The Production and Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring production plans to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role ensures that production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.

• Develop and maintain production schedules in line with sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer requirements.
• Monitor daily production activities and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing priorities or resolve bottlenecks.
• Determine manpower, machinery, and material requirements for production plans.
• Optimize utilization of production resources to minimize downtime and waste.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are aligned with production plans.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing, cost reduction, and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure production processes comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Analyze variances between planned and actual output and propose corrective actions.
