The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations for poultry products and materials, ensuring proper storage, handling, and distribution in compliance with food safety, biosecurity, and cold-chain requirements.
The role focuses on inventory accuracy, cost control, and operational efficiency while maintaining high hygiene and quality standards. - 1. Manage daily warehouse activities for raw materials, feed, packaging, spare parts, and poultry products
- 2. Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity)
- 3. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with production, farms, and sales teams
- 4. Supervise loading/unloading to prevent damage and contamination.
- 5. Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/WMS systems
- 6. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances
- 7. Minimize losses due to spoilage, damage, or mismanagement
- 8. Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and local food safety regulations
- 9. Implement strict biosecurity and hygiene procedures inside the warehouse
- 10. Handle product recalls and traceability when required
- 11. Control warehouse operating costs and consumables
- 12. Optimize space utilization and material flow
- 13. Prepare KPI reports (inventory accuracy, shrinkage, turnaround time)
Job Requirements
- Qualifications:
- 1. 10+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in poultry, food, FMCG, or cold storage
- 2. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or Agriculture.
- 3. Preferably, residents of the 10th of Ramadan City.
- 4. Experience with ERP/WMS systems
