MRP Senior Supervisor At Pepsico

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Material Planning team for a specific category for the cluster
  • Accountable for the weekly/daily material plans and issuing POs (purchase orders) to materials suppliers
  • Front end the discussion with Factory Supply planners for in scope materials
  • Daily collaboration with CCC Supply Planning to match materials to production plans
  • Accountable for sharing the 16 weeks plan to Central Material planning team(Snacks) and with suppliers for beverages
  • Coordinate material PIPO with Innovation coordinator ensuring on time delivery of new launches with minimum possible obsoletes
  • Highlight any material risk that might cause manufacturing interruption to Supply Planning and RemainCo teams
  • Provide insights through various management reports
  • Leads daily/weekly collaboration with suppliers to ensure on time delivery of materials
  • End to End inventory analytics (ex-Business wastage, excess inventory) including target of reducing inventory
  • Deliver all material planning KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) of issues
  • Manager suppliers KPIs and leads the improvement and/or escalation of any declined performance
  • Analyse the reason for plan failures and work with internal team to fix the issues
  • Bring best practice of market to the delivery
  • Manage the group of MRP team members (6– 9 MRP planners & innovation coordinators, MDMs)
  • Responsible for adopting the current systems and leads the run to standard agenda and compliance targets for Material Planning area
  • Developing tools with the help of IT team
  • Apply RPA (Robotic Process Automation) in the existing delivery

Qualifications

  • Engineering Education
  • Experience – 6 to 8 years in associated function
  • Experienced in Supply Chain Planning (demand, supply planning and/or material plannings)
  • Proven management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development (6 – 9 direct reports) at L6 and L7
  • High level of knowledge & understanding of the E2E planning systems & processes and experience with any ERP system (preferred)
  • Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work with other functions / departments to address critical challenges as a result of market change or changes in technical, manufacturing or End to end planning processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs.
  • Proficiency in Excel
