Role Description
This full-time, on-site SMT Material Team Leader position is based in 10th of Ramadan. The role includes overseeing SMT (Surface Mount Technology) material workflows, ensuring timely and efficient handling of materials, and supervising a team to ensure accuracy and adherence to production schedules. Responsibilities include coordinating inventory checks, communicating with procurement and production teams, implementing best practices for material handling, and identifying areas for continuous improvement in the supply chain process.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage SMT material operations and ensure smooth material flow to production lines
• Monitor material inventory, stock accuracy, and cycle counting activities
• Control ERP system transactions related to material receiving, issuing, and stock movement
• Lead and supervise warehouse/material staff within the SMT department
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Planning teams to avoid material shortages
• Ensure proper FIFO implementation and material traceability
• Prepare inventory and material-related reports regularly
Qualifications
- Experience in managing SMT material handling and production processes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in inventory control and supply chain management
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and SMT components
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems and basic understanding of quality standards is an advantage
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Good knowledge of ERP systems
