Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Specialist, based in Cairo, Egypt. The Logistics Specialist will manage import shipments from overseas suppliers, ensuring smooth and timely clearance and delivery. The role includes close coordination with warehouse teams to ensure accurate receipt and storage of goods. Additionally, the candidate will handle documentation, maintain strong communication with vendors, and analyze logistics operations to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of shipping processes and supply chain operations
- Proven experience in Import processes, including documentation and compliance with international trade regulations
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate logistics performance and identify areas for operational efficiency
- Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in logistics systems and tools, with good understanding of inventory and warehouse coordination
- Relevant certifications in Supply Chain or Logistics are a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
