Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage the Planning & Cost Control team across multiple concurrent projects.
Develop, baseline, update, and monitor integrated project schedules and cost plans.
Ensure full alignment between project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and contractual milestones.
Oversee cost control activities including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
Provide senior management with accurate performance reports, including earned value analysis (EVA), KPIs, forecasts, recovery plans, and executive dashboards.
Perform advanced data analysis to monitor project performance, productivity, and trends, ensuring proactive decision-making.
Manage planning and cost-related claims, including delay analysis, extension of time (EOT), cost impact assessments, and supporting documentation in coordination with the contracts team.
Coordinate closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and contracts teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Review and integrate subcontractors’ schedules and cost data into the master plan.
Identify risks, delays, and cost deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
10–15 years of experience in project controls (planning & cost control) within reputable construction companies.
Proven experience managing large-scale and diverse project portfolios (infrastructure, industrial, and commercial).
Strong expertise in both planning and cost control functions.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, advanced Excel, Power BI, and other project control tools.
Solid knowledge of earned value management (EVM), delay analysis techniques, and claims management.
Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams under pressure.
