Role Summary:
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role plays a key part in coordinating between different departments, tracking project progress, and supporting project management with accurate planning and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks
• Prepare baseline schedules, progress reports, and recovery plans
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with project timelines
• Review project activities and resource allocation for maximum efficiency
• Support project management in tracking milestones and overall project performance
• Analyze project data and provide recommendations for schedule improvement
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil is preferred)
• 2–4 years of proven experience in project planning
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling and time management
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Previous experience in residential or commercial projects is preferred
