Job Title: Project Control Senior Engineer
Sector/Business Line: Elsewedy Electric E&C.
Scope: Engineering & Contracting
Department: PMO
Accountabilities:
Data Analytics & Performance Reporting
• Consolidate, validate, and structure project performance data (time, cost, scope, quality) across all E&C Business Units.
• Design and maintain automated sector-wide dashboards and data models using Power BI, Excel, and advanced BI tools to monitor EPC KPIs.
• Deliver actionable analytics and insights for PMO governance meetings and executive decision-making.
• Establish standardized reporting templates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and full data traceability.
Digital Transformation & Automation
• Support in the automation of PMO workflows using scripts, macros, and BI solutions — eliminating reliance on manual data handling.
• Co-develop digital tools and data platforms with IT and business stakeholders to strengthen PMO digital infrastructure.
• Support integration between PMO analytics and enterprise systems (ERP, Primavera, etc.) to enhance seamless data flow.
Risk Analytics & Forecasting
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analytics to identify and monitor project risks and operational vulnerabilities.
• Embed risk metrics within performance dashboards to enable proactive early-warning indicators.
• Maintain and enhance the Sector Risk Register, tracking mitigation actions and reporting risk exposure.
• Provide scenario-based forecasting and risk simulations to support contingency planning and decision-making.
Performance Monitoring & Process Optimization
• Analyze performance trends and variance drivers to support improvements in planning accuracy, scheduling, and cost control.
• Benchmark performance across BUs to promote best-practice sharing and operational standardization.
• Support development of PMO performance frameworks and KPIs that drive efficiency and consistent EPC delivery.
• Recommend and contribute to process optimization initiatives using data-driven insights and digital enablers.
Collaboration & Governance Enablement
• Partner with Project Managers, Planning Teams, and Risk Analysts to ensure timely, reliable, and aligned performance data flow.
• Work closely with Finance, Engineering, HSE, and other functional departments to ensure unified analytics governance.
• Present insights, dashboards, and business intelligence findings to senior leadership and PMO stakeholders with clarity and impact.
Education Background:
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, ideally within engineering, construction, or project-based environments, preferably in EPC, PMO, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Computer skills: MS Office / ERP/ Primavera, Power BI, Excel (advanced), Preferred programming/scripting languages (Python, VBA, SQL) is an advantage
