Logistics Specialist – Operations (Cement or building materials)

Job Purpose

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of cement shipments, ensuring that bulk and bagged products move efficiently from supply points (plants/ports) to the final customer. You will manage the day-to-day transportation flow, documentation, and vendor relationships to maintain a seamless supply chain in a high-volume trading environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in logistics operations, ideally within the construction materials, mining, or bulk commodities sector.

• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020, heavy vehicle regulations, and maritime or land transport logistics.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced “just-in-time” delivery environment.

• Exceptional geographical knowledge of the local/regional distribution network.
