We are hiring: Warehouse Section Head.
Warehouse Department.
6 of October City (industrial area).

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure smooth flow of materials, goods, and products within the assigned section.
• Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational KPIs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels through periodic cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to minimize damage and loss.
• Coordinate with the inventory control team to address variances or stock discrepancies.
• Supervise and lead warehouse team members within the section.
• Plan, assign, and review daily workloads and responsibilities.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity and safety awareness.
• Ensure that warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure all equipment and tools are used properly.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Implement lean warehousing techniques and 5S practices.
• Support digitalization or automation initiatives where applicable.
• Collaborate with planning, procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery.
• Communicate and resolve any operational bottlenecks or shipment delays.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, workforce performance, and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement, stock adjustments, and warehouse activities.
Skills Required:
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – Proficiency in tools like SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
• Inventory Control – Knowledge of stock management, FIFO/LIFO methods, and cycle counting.
• Logistics & Distribution – Understanding of inbound/outbound processes, shipping documentation, and load planning.
• Safety & Compliance – Familiarity with OSHA standards, warehouse safety practices, and audit readiness.
• Data Analysis & Reporting – Ability to generate and interpret KPIs (e.g., stock accuracy, picking efficiency).

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Supply chain or logistics certificates are advantageous.
