Vessel Operations Officer At MLH Shipping “Alex”
Experience: Minimum 3 Years in Vessel Operations
Location: Alexandria Port Office
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit vessel berthing and departure requests through MTS, and upload required documentation files.
Attend vessel berthing and anchorage operations, monitor activities, and report any irregularities, delays, or operational issues.
Coordinate with port authorities, immigration, customs, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth vessel operations and manage crew change arrangements.
Handle and collect essential shipping, cargo, IMO, and clearance documents.
Prepare regular vessel status reports and operational updates.
Requirements
Solid knowledge of vessel berthing and departure procedures and port operations.
Familiarity with MTS and FAL documentation.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple operational activities efficiently.
Good command of the English language.
