Supply Chain Specialist – Cairo, Egypt
Potenza Energy Services is looking for a motivated and hands-on Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.
The role will support our oilfield services operations across the Middle East and Africa, with direct involvement in procurement, logistics, vendor management, ERP activities, and vendor registrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement cycle: PR, RFQ, quotation comparison, PO, delivery and invoice follow-up
Coordinate local and international shipments, freight, collection, customs documentation and delivery tracking
Maintain shipment and procurement trackers and follow up with suppliers and freight forwarders
Vendor sourcing, onboarding, evaluation and ongoing vendor management
Prepare and process PRs and POs through the ERP system
Support basic bookkeeping, invoice/PO matching and supplier payment follow-up
Maintain purchasing, supplier and logistics records
Handle Potenza’s vendor registrations and prequalification with clients and procurement portals
Maintain company registration documents, certificates, licenses and vendor profiles
Support RFQs, tenders and urgent sourcing requirements
Coordinate closely with Operations and Finance teams.
Basic book keeping activities
Requirements:
1–3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics or a related role
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or a related field
High level of English is required – written and spoken
Good understanding of PRs, POs, RFQs, invoices and shipping documentation
Good Excel skills and experience with ERP/purchasing systems
Strong communication, organization and supplier follow-up skills
Oil & gas, industrial services or engineering experience is an advantage
Based in Cairo, Egypt
