Job Description:

The Site Storekeeper is responsible for managing all store operations at the construction site, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment to support project activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect all incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Store materials properly to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration
• Issue materials to site teams based on approved requests
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements (in/out)
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the procurement team
• Conduct periodic physical inventory and reconcile with system records
• Ensure proper handling and storage of construction materials (cement, steel, tools, etc.)
• Prepare daily/weekly inventory and consumption reports
• Coordinate with site engineers and procurement department
• Ensure compliance with safety and site regulations
