This is a full-time on-site position for a Senior Procurement Engineer, based in Sheraton El Matar. The role involves managing and optimizing procurement activities, including supplier evaluation, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating requests for quotations (RFQs). The Senior Procurement Engineer will ensure cost-effective procurement of materials, maintain strong communication with suppliers, and evaluate purchasing performance. Analytical problem-solving and strong coordination with other departments are integral to daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and processing Purchase Orders
- Experience with generating and reviewing Request for Quotation (RFQ)
- Strong Analytical Skills for optimizing procurement costs and supplier performance
- Excellent Communication skills for effective coordination with suppliers and internal teams
- Familiarity with procurement software or tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related role, preferably in construction
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
