Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on demand, capacity, and available resources.
- Prepare and follow up on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure material availability.
- Monitor production progress against the plan and identify any deviations, bottlenecks, or capacity constraints
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Sales teams to ensure smooth execution of the plan.
- Analyze production capacity and resource availability and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and material availability to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
- Update planning parameters, lead times, and production data within the ERP system.
- Prepare regular planning reports and provide insights on production performance, capacity utilization, and plan adherence.
- Support demand forecasting and planning activities based on business requirements and historical data.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, reduce downtime, and optimize inventory.
- Ensure timely communication of any changes in production requirements or priorities to relevant stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, or any relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Planning, Production Planning, Material Planning, or Supply Chain Planning.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, Capacity Planning, Production Scheduling, and Inventory Management.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong data analysis capabilities.
- Good understanding of Demand Planning, Forecasting, Lead Time, and Safety Stock.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Good command of English.
