Role Description
you will be responsible for :
-managing supplier evaluations
– issuing purchase orders,preparing and negotiating Request for Quotations (RFQs)
-ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
-close collaboration with project teams to meet procurement needs and timelines, along with maintaining vendor relationships and optimizing cost-efficiency through effective procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess vendor capabilities, pricing, and market trends
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills for vendor relationship management and collaboration with internal teams
- Experience in preparing and managing Purchase Orders
- Proven ability to manage multiple procurement tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required
- Relevant experience in procurement within the construction or engineering sector is highly desirable
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools is an advantage
