We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our Local procurement team. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing local materials required for electrical panels and lighting manufacturing, while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source and purchase local materials and components required for electrical panels and lighting production.
- Identify and evaluate local suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on order status to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with Planning, production, warehouse, and other internal departments; validate material specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and budget codes before processing
- Maintain and update supplier database and purchase records.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure cost optimization.
- Ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications and company quality standards.
- Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality problems, or supplier performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in local purchasing or procurement.
- Experience in electrical panels or the lighting industry is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Good knowledge of local suppliers for electrical components, sheet metal, and lighting materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
