TIEHOUSE Hiring “Purchasing Manager”
Job Purpose:
To plan, organize, and execute all purchasing activities related to fabrics, accessories, and production materials, ensuring continuous supply of high-quality materials at the best possible cost and within required timelines to support the company’s production and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans aligned with production schedules and company objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and supply efficiency.
Review and approve purchase orders ensuring compliance with required technical and quality specifications.
Monitor inventory levels to maintain material availability and avoid production delays.
Supervise and guide the procurement team, distributing tasks and monitoring daily performance.
Analyze and monitor purchasing and logistics costs and assist in budget preparation.
Prepare periodic reports on supplier performance, purchasing efficiency, and market trends.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement and supply chain operations.
Collaborate closely with production, planning, and quality departments to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
Stay updated on new fabrics, materials, and fashion trends relevant to the company’s products.
Track market prices and supply conditions in the textile and garment industry.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Textile and Apparel.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in industrial procurement, including at least 3 years in the garment or textile sector.
Excellent command of English (spoken and written) to communicate with international suppliers.
Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Skills and Competencies:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Effective planning and time management.
High attention to detail and sound financial analysis abilities.
Leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Deep knowledge of fabric markets and sourcing channels locally and internationally.
