Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Foreign Procurement Manager based in 6th of October. The role involves managing the end-to-end foreign procurement process by evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing contract management. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends to optimize procurement strategies and ensuring compliance with company policies and international trade regulations. The Procurement Manager will also build long-term relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods to meet business needs.

Job Description

• Strong skills in Business Negotiation and Trading
• 10 years expertise in International Trade and International Business practices
• Experience in grains, herbs, and spices or agricultural commodities
• Ability to add new suppliers in the grains, dry seeds, and herbs sector
• Previous experience in the agricultural or import industry is a plus
• Experience in Import processes
• Excellent Communication skills for building and maintaining international partnerships
• Proficiency in understanding market trends and global business operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business
• 15 years experience in international Trade
• Experience in foreign procurement for grains, herbs, and spices or agricultural commodities
• Experience in Import processes

Skills & Competencies:

– Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

– Knowledge of international trade regulations and incoterms

– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

– Proven skills in Customer Service and effective communication

– Knowledge of Ocean freight and management of international shipping activities

– Familiarity with regulatory requirements and logistics procedures is an advantage

– Fluent in English (Mandatory)
