Job Description
- Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with vendors and subcontractors
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules
- Coordinate with site engineers and technical office for material requirements
- Review BOQs and project specifications to ensure accurate purchasing
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstock
- Ensure all materials meet required specifications and quality standards
- Handle supplier performance evaluation and maintain vendor database
- Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or material quality
- Prepare procurement reports and cost analysis
