RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, and monitor the complete export process from order receipt to delivery at destination
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Cold Storage to ensure shipment readiness and product integrity.
- Schedule and manage container bookings, ensuring on-time dispatch from factory to port.
- verify freight rates, transport costs, and delivery schedules with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
- Supervise loading processes, ensuring temperature control and proper packaging of frozen products.
- Prepare and review all export documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, health certificates, and shipping instructions.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian export regulations and destination country requirements (e.g., customs, food safety, labeling)
- Liaise with GOEIC, Customs, Chamber of Commerce, and Shipping Agencies for timely clearance.
- Maintain updated knowledge of export laws, trade agreements, and incoterms applicable to FMCG food exports.
- Serve as the key link between the factory, export customers, logistics providers, and f inance department.
- Communicate proactively with international customers regarding shipment schedules, documentation, and tracking.
- Work with Finance to ensure accurate billing, insurance, and LC (Letter of Credit) compliance.
- Handle claims or discrepancies related to shipment delays or damages.
- Track and report KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, documentation accuracy, and logistics cost per ton.
- Identify areas for improvement in logistics efficiency and propose cost-saving initiatives.
- Support management in forecasting export volumes and shipping needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or International Trade.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in export logistics, preferably in FMCG / food manufacturing / frozen products.
- Have Passion to work in Startup environment.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian customs laws, GOEIC procedures, and export documentation for food products.
- Experience with cold storage logistics, reefer containers, and port coordination.
- English language proficiency (written and spoken) is a must.
- Experience using ERP systems and export tracking tools is preferred.
- Certification in Logistics or International Trade (CILT / FIATA / APICS) is a plus.
