Procurement Operations Associate At Dafeer “Tanta”

This role requires someone who can manage multiple purchase cycles, negotiate with suppliers, follow up on orders, and maintain accurate records in SAP while supporting both the Sales and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Create, process, and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP accurately and on time

Request and obtain quotations from distributors, vendors, and local suppliers

Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis to support purchasing decisions

Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve the best value

Follow up with vendors and distributors on order status, delivery timelines, and pending shipments

Track and manage backorders, urgent requirements, and delayed deliveries

Provide the Sales team with accurate stock availability and delivery updates

Assist Account Managers and Sales teams in preparing accurate customer quotations

Coordinate with Technical, Warehouse, and Accounts teams to ensure smooth order processing

Work closely with the Warehouse team regarding goods receipt and inventory updates

Identify and resolve issues related to incorrect orders, mismatched licenses, or delivery discrepancies

Repond to customer and internal team inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Maintain proper documentation and up-to-date records for all POs, quotations, and vendor communications

Conduct market research and vendor comparison to identify the most cost-effective options

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field

1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role

Working knowledge of SAP and CRM systems

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

Excellent communication, coordination, and follow-up abilities

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple vendors and parallel procurement cycles in a fast-paced environment

Basic financial understanding including pricing, margins, and cost analysis

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting

Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Warehouse, Technical, and Finance teams
