Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical / Electrical Procurement Engineer located in Qesm El Maadi. The role involves managing the procurement of mechanical and electrical equipment and materials, ensuring quality standards and cost-efficiency. Daily tasks include sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers, reviewing technical specifications, and maintaining detailed records. The engineer will also liaise closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of required materials and equipment, and may conduct inspections to validate compliance with project standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Maintenance and Inspection practices
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and expertise in Automotive systems
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management is an asset
- Familiarity with regional and international mechanical/electrical standards is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
