Role Description
Monitor market factors affecting engineering procurement (machinery, spare parts, and equipment) and provide necessary recommendations.
Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, quality, and favorable delivery and payment terms.
Prepare and review purchase orders for equipment and machinery in coordination with the technical department to ensure specification compliance.
Track purchase orders from issuance to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment.
Ensure availability of critical spare parts to maintain operational continuity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Oracle ERP.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
