Logistics Supervisor At PICO Agriculture

PICO Modern Agriculture is hiring for the Logistics Team:

📌Logistics Supervisor (5-7 years of experience)

Responsibilities:

•Ensures proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, records for
shipments.
• Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders,customers and agents in a timely manner.
• Prepare all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (departure, arrival, customs clearance, etc.).
• Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations & same with related departments internally.
• Oversee and complete accurate billing from service providers based on agreements while ensuring accurate costs are maintained.
• Plans and schedules appropriate modes of transportation based on daily business needs.
• Schedules the appropriate service line for the situation (across all modes and all trade lanes) to maintain a cost-effective balance between customer service and cost of shipment.
• Works closely with client’s representative to ensure service satisfaction.
• Analyses service failures/ issues and implements performance processes to enhance future service
delivery.
• Responsible for resolving all internal/external client customer service issues in a cost effective and
expeditious manner.
• Keep records of correspondences/agreements with freight forwarders.
• Help negotiating the best deals from insurance companies with the most competitive offers.
• Revise and review invoices with freight forwarders and keep records.
• Liaise with all the service providers in order to help building the strongest rapport.
• Follow up on customs invoices for each shipment and communicate them to the related parties.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in logistics, preferably in fresh produce/export operations
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes, documentation, and export procedures
• Proficiency in office applications and basic reporting
• Previous experience in dealing with shipping lines and freight forwarders is a plus
