Foreign Purchasing Specialist At Astrix Pharma Egypt

Astrix Pharma Egypt is looking for an experienced Foreign Purchasing Specialist – Packaging to join our team in Cairo.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry is a MUST.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source and manage international suppliers for primary, secondary, and printed packaging materials.
• Handle pharmaceutical packaging materials including bottles, blisters, sachets, folding boxes, labels, leaflets, and printed inserts.
• Conduct quality and cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing and material compliance.
• Manage purchase orders, shipments, and import documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure packaging specifications and compliance requirements are met.
• Follow up with suppliers on quotations, samples, production status, and deliveries.
• Support supplier evaluation and maintain strong relationships with global vendors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 3–5 years of experience in Foreign Purchasing / Procurement.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical or FMCG industries is required.
• Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical packaging materials.
• Practical experience with printed packaging materials is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.
• Good command of English.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
