Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Engineer based in New Cairo. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, issuing Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and ensuring cost-effective procurement. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining consistent communication to support project needs effectively.
Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of Experience
- Expertise in Supplier Evaluation and the ability to effectively assess vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities
- Experience with preparing and managing Purchase Orders and Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
- Strong Analytical Skills for identifying cost-saving opportunities and evaluating procurement data
- Excellent Communication skills to coordinate between stakeholders and maintain supplier relationships
- Familiarity with procurement practices in engineering-driven industries is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools is a plus
