Main Responsibilities
- Maintain fleet reliability through preventive/corrective maintenance and root‑cause analysis.
- Ensure proper performance of refrigeration units and uphold cold‑chain standards.
- Lead workshop operations assign tasks, supervise technicians, and ensure quality execution.
- Train and coach technicians while monitoring performance and promoting safety culture.
- Coordinate with Operations to maximize vehicle availability and respond quickly to breakdowns.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure proper use of approved components.
- Ensure compliance with safety/quality standards and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Prepare maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement to reduce breakdowns and improve uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in the maintenance of the light trucks (diesel engines, drivetrain, brakes, suspension).
- A proven experience within the FMCG/Dairy context is a plus.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) or fleet management platforms.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS office suite.
