RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and quality of materials.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to understand material requirements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely project execution without excess or shortages.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, products, and procurement trends.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry standards, and regulations.
- Assist in the resolution of procurement-related issues and disputes with vendors.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management regarding budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ( mechanical , electric or related field ) .
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the construction sector.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of construction materials, services, and industry standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
