We seek a proactive Supply Chain & MRP Specialist to support our manufacturing and distribution operations by ensuring materials and logistics are planned, available and cost-effective.

Role Summary

The Supply Chain & MRP Specialist will coordinate and monitor end‑to‑end supply chain activities, manage material requirements planning (MRP) processes, and oversee stock levels of raw materials and equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate warehouse and order records, preparing management reports, and driving cost control in transportation and freight. Strong knowledge of the ACI process is required.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor daily supply chain operations to ensure timely flow of materials and finished goods.

Operate and maintain the MRP system: create and review material requirements plans, run MRP explodes, and follow up on action items (purchase requisitions, planned orders, etc.).

Supervise purchase orders and inventory stocking of raw materials, components and equipment to meet production schedules and minimize stockouts.

Maintain accurate logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, receipts, returns and cycle counts.

Coordinate with procurement, production, QA and warehouse teams to resolve shortages, expedite critical orders and optimize inventory turns.

Prepare accurate, timely reports and KPIs for upper management (inventory levels, days of inventory, fill rate, on‑time delivery, supplier performance, MRP exception reports, etc.).

Review freight rates, carrier options and transit modes; negotiate or recommend cost‑effective transportation solutions while maintaining service levels.

Ensure compliance with transportation limitations, carrier regulations and customs/ACI process requirements; prepare or review ACI documentation as needed.

Identify process improvements in MRP, inventory control and logistics that reduce cost, improve availability and remove bottlenecks.

Support supplier performance reviews and coordinate corrective actions for late deliveries or quality issues.

Communicate effectively across departments and with external partners to meet deadlines and production targets.

Qualifications & Skills

3–5 years proven experience in logistics coordination, supply chain or MRP roles—experience in the automotive supply industry is a plus.

Very good knowledge of the ACI process and related documentation requirements.

Strong working knowledge of MRP systems/ERP (experience with [ERP, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics.] is an advantage).

Excellent attention to detail and strong planning/organizational skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills; able to liaise with cross‑functional teams and external carriers/suppliers.

Ability to work well within teams and independently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Good understanding of transportation limitations, carrier regulations and freight costing.

Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic data analysis) and comfortable preparing management reports and dashboards.

Preferred

Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.

Certifications such as APICS/CPIM, CSCP or equivalent are an asset.
