Responspilities:
- Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify the electrical scope and project requirements.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and BOQs for electrical systems (Lighting, Power, Low Current, and Earthing systems).
- Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations, ensuring technical and commercial compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with design and technical teams to clarify project requirements and design assumptions.
- Prepare technical and financial proposals in line with client requirements and submission deadlines.
- Ensure full compliance with electrical codes, standards, and client specifications in all tender submissions.
- Liaise with procurement to obtain competitive vendor quotations and technical data for electrical materials and equipment.
- Participate in pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Support value engineering exercises to optimize electrical system design and reduce cost without compromising performance.
- Maintain updated knowledge of market rates, materials, and installation methods in electrical and MEP works.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4-6 years of experience in tendering/estimation for MEP contracting companies.
- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
