Job Description
- Daily supervision of the movement of cars and drivers and ensuring compliance with operating plans
- Distributing trips and tasks to drivers in a way that achieves the highest operational efficiency
- Follow up on the implementation of the itinerary and ensure compliance with the specified deadlines
- Monitoring drivers’ performance (commitment – speeds – driving style)
- Immediately deal with any malfunctions or problems during operation and find quick solutions
- Coordinate with the maintenance team in case of malfunctions and report them
- Prepare a daily operating report
- Monitor fuel consumption and work to reduce operating costs
- Ensuring vehicle readiness (cleanliness – maintenance – licenses) and routine supervision and inspection
- Follow up on drivers’ commitment to uniforms and company policies
- Dealing with customer problems and solving them professionally
- Organizing the work schedule (checks – vacations – alternatives)
- Implement and enforce company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Rapid response to emergencies, breakdowns or accidents involving fleet vehicles.
Job Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in fleet supervision, logistics or transportation management.
- Previous experience in managing transport and fleet operations
- Strong management in organization and time management
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems
- Good communication skills with customers and drivers
- Proficiency in using Excel and Word
- Familiarity with fleet management software and GPS tracking systems.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
