Key Responsibilities
1. Bid Management & Strategy (30%)
• Lead go/no-go decision-making process for new opportunities
• Develop winning strategies aligned with client requirements and market conditions
• Analyze tender documents, identify risks, and define commercial & technical positioning
• Coordinate with senior management on pricing and strategic direction
2. Tender Preparation & Submission (25%)
• Manage full lifecycle of tender submissions:
• RFQs, RFPs, ITTs
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and submission guidelines
• Technical proposals
• Commercial offers
• Supporting documentation
• Ensure timely submission with zero errors
3. Cross-Functional Coordination (15%)
• Engineering
• Procurement
• Finance
• Legal
• Operations
• Consolidate inputs into a cohesive and competitive proposal
• Ensure alignment between technical and commercial components
4. Costing & Commercial Structuring (10%)
• Review cost estimates and pricing models
• Ensure competitiveness while maintaining target margins
• Cost optimization opportunities
• Risk provisions
• Support negotiation strategy post-submission
5. Risk Management (5%)
• Identify contractual, financial, and operational risks
• Work with legal/management to mitigate risks in bids
• Maintain a risk register for each tender
6. Client & Stakeholder Engagement (5%)
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and clarifications
• Maintain relationships with key clients and partners
• Handle bid queries and submissions professionally
7. Process Improvement & Reporting (5%)
• Maintain tender database and pipeline tracking
• Win/loss ratios
• Competitor trends
• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and success rate
8. Team Leadership (5%)
• Supervise and mentor tendering engineers / specialists
• Allocate tasks and ensure workload balance
• Develop team capabilities and knowledge

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil preferred) or Business / Commerce (with strong technical exposure)
- Strong knowledge of tendering procedures (public & private sector)
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and contracts
- Proposal writing
- Costing and pricing
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- High attention to detail and deadline management
Preferred Experience
• Experience in EV charging infrastructure or e-mobility projects, including charging networks, fleet electrification, or working with CPOs
• Strong background in tendering for energy / infrastructure / EPC (Engineering, procurement and construction) projects, especially with government or utility clients
• Familiarity with electrical systems and EV charging technologies (AC/DC chargers, grid connections, OCPP)
• Exposure to multi-site project bids, international suppliers, and regulatory frameworks in EV or energy sectors
