Job Description

  • Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials 
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with vendors and subcontractors
  • Issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with site engineers and technical office for material requirements
  • Review BOQs and project specifications to ensure accurate purchasing
  • Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstock
  • Ensure all materials meet required specifications and quality standards
  • Handle supplier performance evaluation and maintain vendor database
  • Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or material quality
  • Prepare procurement reports and cost analysis
