About the Role
A Junior Procurement Specialist is an entry-level position within the procurement or supply chain department. The role focuses on supporting the purchasing process to ensure that the company acquires goods and services at the best price, quality, and delivery time.
You typically work under the supervision of a Procurement Manager or Senior Buyer.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) based on internal requests
- Follow up on purchase requests from different departments
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, prices, and delivery schedules
- Request quotations (RFQs) from multiple suppliers
- Compare and analyze supplier offers based on price, quality, and lead time
- Assist in selecting the most suitable suppliers
- Track orders and ensure on-time delivery
- Handle any delays or issues with suppliers and report them
- Maintain and update supplier databases and records
- Coordinate with the warehouse team regarding received goods
- Ensure purchased items match required specifications and quantities
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory planning when needed
- Enter procurement data into ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, contracts, and purchase records
- Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities
- Support senior procurement staff in daily tasks and projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist.
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain concepts.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle) is a plus.
- Good command of English (especially for emails and supplier communication).
