Technical Procurement Manager At Hyde Park Developments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage procurement activities for technical materials and services in line with project timelines and budget constraints
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors to secure favorable conditions
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define technical specifications and procurement requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards throughout the procurement process
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain positive relationships for continuous improvement and risk mitigation
  • Manage procurement documentation, including tender documents, purchase orders, and contracts
  • Oversee the procurement team, providing leadership and guidance to achieve departmental goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or development sector
  • Strong knowledge of technical procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation
  • Proven experience managing procurement for large-scale projects
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
