MAC for Mobility Manufacturing is looking for a Warehousing & Material Flow Senior Engineer to join our Purchasing & Supply Chain team at the MMM Plant.
This role will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design, optimization, and governance of material flow, warehousing, plant logistics layouts, material handling equipment requirements, and manpower planning across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end material flow process design, including inbound receiving, warehousing, internal logistics, line feeding, sequencing, kitting, and outbound flows.
- Develop and optimize warehouse layouts, storage areas, staging zones, line-side areas, aisles, docks, and material movement routes.
- Define MHE requirements through workload, cycle time, utilization, and capacity calculations.
- Develop headcount requirements based on time studies, productivity assumptions, workload, and shift patterns.
- Supervise Packaging Engineers and support packaging solutions for overseas, local supplier, and in-house packaging.
- Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives related to productivity, safety, quality, cost reduction, space utilization, and operational excellence.
- Establish standards, reporting mechanisms, business cases, and implementation plans for logistics-related projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in warehousing, supply chain, logistics, transportation, or manufacturing operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of material flow design, warehouse capacity calculations, plant layout planning, MHE specification, manpower planning, packaging engineering, and lean logistics.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel is required.
- AutoCAD or equivalent layout design software is required.
- Knowledge of ERP, WMS, MES, Power BI, or logistics planning tools is preferred.
- Good command of English and Arabic.
- Automotive, CKD assembly, manufacturing, in-plant logistics, warehousing, material flow, packaging, or PFEP experience is preferred.
