Tendering Engineer At ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyses incoming RFQs (Request for Quotation) from customers.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret tender documents, ensuring accurate distribution of all relevant sections to concerned internal departments.
  • Conduct a detailed analysis of the scope of work, project requirements, proposed schedules, and key resource needs to ensure full understanding and proper alignment with company capabilities.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end proposal process, from receiving tender packages through preparing clarifications, coordinating internal inputs, consolidating documents, and submitting final proposals until award notification is received.
  • Collect, verify, and evaluate technical and commercial inputs from all related departments (engineering, procurement, construction, finance, etc.) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and issue technical qualifications and clarifications related to scope, drawings, and specifications.
  • Respond to client and subcontractor queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and review tender forms, ensuring all required documentation is compiled, formatted, and aligned with tender requirements. Develop both technical and commercial proposal packages in their final submission format.
  • Develop preliminary and detailed bid cost estimates and cash flow charts for project activities, services, and resources.
  • Support or perform technical risk and opportunity analysis for each tender.
  • Ensure consistency in WBS development, cost breakdown structures, and estimation methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Tendering, Estimation, Technical Sales, or Engineering within the electrical distribution.

• Strong knowledge of BOQs, technical & commercial offer creation

• Good understanding of MEP systems and construction projects
