We are Hiring: Supply Chain Director 🚀
Are you a visionary supply chain leader capable of navigating complex, multi-million-dollar portfolios? Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes project environments?
We are looking for a Supply Chain Director to spearhead our end-to-end supply chain strategy, lead cross-functional teams, and support executive management in achieving our operational and financial objectives.
In this role, you will ensure the timely procurement and delivery of critical materials, equipment, and services for large-scale ICT, telecom, data center, smart city, and infrastructure projects, while building a resilient, cost-effective, and efficient supply chain.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop long-term sourcing strategies and manage procurement governance and policies.
Partnership & Negotiation: Build strategic partnerships with key local and international suppliers, and negotiate high-value framework agreements and commercial terms.
Performance Optimization: Optimize supply chain cost, quality, and delivery performance while managing a multi-million-dollar procurement spend.
Team Oversight: Provide strategic direction to the Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Supply Planning, and Vendor Management teams reporting directly to you.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Project Management, Engineering, Finance, Commercial, and Business Development teams to ensure seamless project execution.
💼 Profile Requirements:
Experience: 10–15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Industry Background: Preferred background in Telecommunications, ICT, Infrastructure, Engineering, EPC, Data Centers, or Utilities.
Domain Expertise: Strong specialization in technology procurement, telecom/network infrastructure, data center equipment, low-current systems, and professional services.
Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of Egyptian Customs regulations, import/export procedures, tax/VAT regulations, and Central Bank regulations related to imports, alongside Incoterms and international trade compliance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in leading ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
