Job Description

  • The Storekeeper is responsible for full control of the warehouse and inventory at the main service yard. This role ensures accurate tracking, availability, coding, storage, and issuance of all materials and spare parts required for drilling rig operations.
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper in oil & gas, drilling, or heavy equipment environment is required. 

Job Requirements

  • Take full ownership of warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Re-code, reorganize, and optimize the warehouse layout and material classification system
  • Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials based on approved material requests
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records and stock balances
  • Provide real-time visibility of stock levels, issued materials, and remaining quantities
  • Use inventory management software, ERP systems, and Excel for tracking and reporting
  • Prepare periodic inventory, consumption, and shortage reports for management
  • Coordinate material availability with operations, maintenance, and procurement teams
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Ensure proper labeling, traceability, and safe storage of all items
  • Enforce warehouse procedures, housekeeping, and safety standards
  • Support audits and inspections related to inventory and asset control
  • Use warehouse and inventory software efficiently (ERP / Excel / inventory systems)
