About the Role
We are looking for a Settlement Specialist to join our team in Sheraton, Cairo. The role is responsible for ensuring that all logistics-related costs (freight, trucking, clearance, etc.) are accurately recorded, verified, and aligned with invoices and operational data. The position acts as a key link between internal departments and external partners to resolve billing discrepancies and support smooth month-end financial closing.
Key Responsibilities
* Track and monitor international shipments to ensure timely delivery using the PILOS (Pantos Integrated Logistics Operating System).
* Communicate proactively with global offices to send pre-alerts and coordinate with local partners.
* Review and verify freight, trucking, and customs clearance invoices against agreed terms and operational records.
* Coordinate with internal operations teams and external service providers to resolve billing discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate and updated cost records in financial and logistics systems.
* Support the finance team in month-end closing and reporting activities.
* Prepare and share tracking and settlement reports to ensure transparency and accuracy across teams.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong English communication skills to effectively collaborate with local and international teams.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
* Prior experience or knowledge in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management is a plus.
* Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 0–1 year of experience.
* Preferred age: under 25.
* Knowledge in logistics and supply chain is a strong advantage.
