We are looking for a Settlement Specialist to join our team in Sheraton, Cairo.
๐น About the Role
This position offers a great opportunity to build a career at the intersection of Logistics Operations, Financial Settlement, and Cost Control.
You will gain hands-on exposure to international shipments while working closely with Operations, Finance, global offices, carriers, brokers, and service providers.
๐ Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor international shipments through PILOS.
- Coordinate with global offices and local partners on pre-alerts and shipment updates.
- Review and verify freight, trucking, clearance, and other logistics invoices.
- Ensure operational costs are accurately recorded and aligned with agreed commercial terms.
- Investigate and resolve billing and cost discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate cost and financial records.
- Prepare settlement, cost, and tracking reports.
- Support month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Coordinate between Operations and Finance to ensure accurate financial settlement of logistics activities.
๐ฏ What Weโre Looking For
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Bachelorโs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 0โ1 year of experience; logistics/freight forwarding experience is a plus.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers and financial documents.
- A cost-control and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems.
- Preferred age: under 25.
