Role Description The Senior Purchasing Specialist role at Diniz Adient Egypt is a full-time, on-site position based in Ismailia. The person in this role oversees end-to-end purchasing processes, including sourcing suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotes, negotiating prices and terms, and issuing purchase orders. They monitor supplier performance, ensure timely delivery of materials, and resolve discrepancies related to quality, quantity, or invoices. The Senior Purchasing Specialist collaborates with production, finance, and logistics teams to align purchasing activities with operational needs and budget constraints. They analyze purchasing data, identify cost-saving opportunities, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement of procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in purchasing processes, purchasing, and purchase management within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Hands-on experience creating, reviewing, and managing purchase orders and related documentation.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating supplier proposals, monitoring costs, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems and standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Solid negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; professional procurement certification is an advantage.
- Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing procurement is highly beneficial; fluency in English is preferred.
