Role Description

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for all stock items.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory levels and report findings to management.
  • Implement and enforce stock control procedures to minimize losses and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit detailed inventory reports and analysis to relevant departments.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure proper handling and documentation.
  • Support audits by providing necessary inventory data and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all stock handling processes.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record with 8-11 years of progressive experience in Stock Control, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain roles, ideally within the Accounting/Finance or Logistics/Supply Chain sectors.
  • Must have a car.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Stock management, Logistics operations, and advanced Inventory Management techniques.
  • Strong command of Supply Chain Optimization principles and Warehouse Operations best practices.
  • Proficiency in utilizing modern ERP Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for stock tracking and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of Financial Reporting related to inventory valuation and cost control.
  • Exceptional skills in Data Analysis to drive informed decision-making and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to excel in a Senior Management role, including strong capabilities in Team Leadership, coaching, and performance management.
  • Excellent abilities in Vendor Management and Negotiation to secure favorable terms and build strong relationships.
  • A proactive approach to Risk Management and Compliance within supply chain operations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is highly desirable, or equivalent extensive professional experience.
