Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer – MEP to manage the procurement of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing materials, equipment, and subcontractors in accordance with project requirements, budget, and timeline.
Responsibilities
• Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify procurement needs. • Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate technical and commercial offers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with the technical office, site teams, and suppliers.
• Ensure all procured items meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare comparison sheets and procurement reports.
• Support cost control by sourcing competitive suppliers and offers.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. • 5–8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in MEP projects.
• Good knowledge of MEP materials, systems, and subcontracting packages.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of technical specifications and BOQs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Very good command of English.
