Senior Import Logistics Specialist At Mamiba
Mamiba Cosmetics is looking for an experienced Senior Import Logistics Specialist to join our team and take ownership of import operations and customs clearance activities.
📍 Location: 6th of October City, Egypt
🕒 Employment Type: Full-time | On-site
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Manage and oversee import process from purchase order through final delivery.
✔️ Handle and follow up on customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
✔️ Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant authorities.
✔️ Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of import and shipping documentation.
✔️ Monitor shipment status, timelines, and delivery schedules.
✔️ Resolve shipment and customs-related issues efficiently.
✔️ Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare regular reports.
✔️ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely import operations.
✔️ Identify operational gaps and contribute to improving logistics processes.
Requirements:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
✅ 3+ years of relevant experience in Import, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
✅ Hands-on experience in customs clearance and import procedures is mandatory.
✅ Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and logistics operations.
✅ Very good command of English.
✅ Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
✅ Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
