Responsibilities
· Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and agreements.
· Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
· Monitor contract performance and maintain accurate records of all contract-related documents.
· Identify potential claims and analyze their validity and impact.
· Prepare, document, and submit claims to clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
· Manage and resolve claims efficiently, minimizing financial and operational impacts.
· Provide expertise in dispute avoidance and resolution techniques.
· Support arbitration and mediation processes, including preparation of necessary documentation and evidence.
· Liaise with legal teams and external counsel as needed.
· Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure contract compliance and address contractual issues.
· Support project teams in contract administration and interpretation.
· Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all contracts, claims, and dispute resolutions.
· Prepare regular reports on contract status, claims, and risk management activities.
· Ensure documentation is up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering Field.
- 5-7 years of experience in construction
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Arabic
- Proficient with MS Project and ERP software
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, etc.), procurement procedures, and construction laws.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts
